After a day of prison ministry in Sheridan I had a craving for a good old bar burger and having remembered the good reviews MPP&G had received made it a good option to confirm yeah or nay. Prior to ordering a fellow customer gave it and other menu items a plug and so I was in the mood you may say. Talk about big it is most certainly one of this biggest bar burgers I had in a long. It reminded me of the 'Jaques burgers' I use to get at the Irish Mill in Mundelein some 20 years ago so that gives ya an idea when I say long time. It's on the very juicy side, so much the better. The fries were on par, and the cook and bartendress were both friendly and I didn't get the stare by others customers that one tends to get walking into a bar as a stranger, especially on a Friday night. If there is one negative it is that they are so good I'd could have one weekly but because I had those jock burgers and many other bar burgers some 20 years ago my blood pump is not in shape to take one on weekly but perhaps every month or two.

Great (big) burger, with quality ingredients, at a very fair price. Does take a little while, but it's a small town pub, with a small grill, so sit back, enjoy the local feel, and grab a cold one.

Great small town Pub, you feel like you are in Northern Wisconsin. Excellent food. Sandwiches, cheese curds, fried mushrooms and chicken wings are tasty and huge. Friday nights they have several specials including, fish, shrimp and choice of Ribeye or NY Strip steak. Great place to watch the Blackhawks. Everyone that works there is very helpful and friendly. We have been going there for several years and just love it. I highly recommend Maple Park Pub and Grill.

We stopped here to grab some dinner while driving up to DeKalb for Ollie's Frozen Custard (which is best ice cream in Northern Illinois, by the way.) But this little restaurant had the best sub-$8 burger I've ever had. The meat is well-seasoned and cooked to perfection, and all of the toppings seemed very fresh. Burgers come in two sizes: 6 oz, which was more than enough for me or 13 oz, which the bf could hardly finish. All sandwiches come with chips, fries, mozzarella sticks, or cheese nuggets. Really, despite the fact that the exterior looks like it hasn't seen a coat of paint in years, this place really serves a delicious and cheap meal.

Simply amazing burgers! Cooked to perfection! I usually don't give 5 stars unless a burger is exceptional, and this fresh, hand packed, perfectly cooked burger is just that! You might have a longer wait, but it's worth it. We will definitely be going back to this pub.

if you can't tell by other reviews, The burgers here rock! Sometimes a long wait when the grill is hopping! It's worth it, Freshly made burger with plenty of toppings! Well priced too! I've also had the fried pickle appetizer, love!

This place is unassumingly amazing! Hands down the best hamburgers and cheeseburgers I've eaten in my entire life!! The bartenders, cooks, waitresses could not be any nicer. Great prices, great food, great drinks. Honestly, what more could you ask for. LOVE this place!

If you love burgers you owe it to yourself try this place. This place radiates small town charm and hospitality. Places like this are few and far between. Great staff, amazing food and prices that don't require you to raise the debt limit! The perfect end to a nice ride out into the country.

Fantastic!! My husband had heard about this place from a friend! Well we finally made it out there and we were not disappoiinted! The hamburgers are the best ever. Great cheap drinks and the staff is very friendly and accomodating! This is a must do! We will definitely be back!

This is the BEST hidden gem in the quiet little town of Maple Park!!! We go there for lunch almost every Saturday afternoon for lunch and a couple of cocktails. Everything on the menu is FABULOUS.... especially the burgers and the brat burgers! The cook... Michael is the greatest, and the bartender... Melissa is absolutely AWESOME!! (we miss her on Saturday's though) The best drinks... best food... best staff.... You have to try it!! Next, we will try the Steak Night Friday.... heard it was the best also..... definitely a comfortable place!!!
